Life has been quite busy making regular postings difficult, but hopefully I can get things back on track.  Kicking this month off with a SPAZZ soundboard from 1999 recorded at 924 Gilman St.  It's not awesome sounding at all, it's pretty much just drums and vocals, I boosted the bass and guitar as much as I could but listening to it now it wouldn't sound like I did anything at all to it.  Some recordings there just can't be much done to it, without creating weird audio artifacting and such.  Not sure why I'm even posting this to be honest, but just in case a Spazz completist wants to hear it, here it is.    - DH

Here's a quick SPAZZ set from 924 Gilman St in 1994, opening for Los Crudos.  It's a soundboard recording, so it takes a few minutes for the levels to even out on the tape and then it starts to sound ok, but of course by that point that's a big chunk of their set.  I tried to sit and get the song titles down but it has been way too long since I knew Spazz songs well enough to remember their titles, or at least what record the songs were on.  So if you know, help me out, I'll edit it into the post.  Otherwise, enjoy! - DH

SPAZZ - July 8th, 1997 Cleveland, OH [AUDIENCE]

SPAZZ!  Their 1997 tour was legendary.  Shows may have not been huge, but it seemed everyone that went to these was stoked, as for many folks this may have been their only chance to see them live.  I managed to see them twice on this tour, and then again at their final show a couple years later.  The 1997 shows left such a lasting impression on me, it might have me a bit generous with the sound quality on this.  I know it's a bit noisy and rough, but considering what it is and the nostalgia for me, I'm just fine with listening to this.  If you saw Spazz on this tour, you also might have a bit of the nostalgia going on, this was a classic set that they pretty much did in some variation at the shows.  And if you never saw Spazz, I feel like this gives a great representation of the band in their best setting.  Hope ya dig it!   - DH
