 MDC!  Here's a cool set of them opening for Celtic Frost and Samhain, along with Nuclear Assault and others.  If anyone has the other sets, present them!  It's pretty funny that MDC opens up this very metal show with an acoustic song, someone vocalizes their displeasure with this right into the tape recorder, haha.  Then the band gets loud and everything's business as usual.  Do you like MDC?  Well hopefully you dig this then...    - DH

Here's a fun set from the mighty MDC, live at 924 Gilman St in July of 1987.  For this show they ripped up the setlist and put the songs in something and had the audience draw them and they would play it.  The mix on this is all over the place though, if you've checked out other Gilman soundboards on my site from 87 or 88 you should be familiar with this.  It is what it is, nothing I could do to fix this fully.  I did boost some things, but I cant do anything about the wildly fluctuating mix.  Still, might be neat if you were there, or just want a random MDC show to listen to.    - DH

Today's post is an incomplete live soundboard recording from the mighty MDC at 924 Gilman St on December 29th, 1990.  I wish I had the whole set, but I'll gladly take what I can get and hope I come across the whole set later on down the line.  Also wish I had the full show.  Final Conflict played this night, as did Undertow from Washington.  If anyone has tapes of these, cough 'em up please!  Until then, jam this 8 or 9 minutes of MDC.  - DH

I've listened to this one several times now, a soundboard recording of M.D.C. at The Farm in San Francisco, CA, 1986.  This is a pretty killer recording, but unfortunately it's incomplete.  I sure hope to come across the rest someday.  So there's a lot of Dave talking, get comfortable or skip it.  When they finally begins ripping into some songs though, it's badass.  Does anyone know what the title is for track #4? If you know the title or have the flyer, or actually have the whole set, hook it up please!  - DH

Here is a short set from Dave Dictor of M.D.C. playing some songs acoustically at 924 Gilman St.  Sounds like he showed up and jumped up for a quick set between bands.  Personally, I'm usually not a fan of acoustic punk, but Dave just has that personality, charm and sincerity to what he does that this is a fun listen.
