MACABRE - April 2nd, 1988 - Normal, IL @ The Gallery [SOUNDBOARD]

MACABRE!  I have no info on what city or venue this show took place in, if anyone knows, please let me know! All I know is that this is a soundboard from a show in Illinois.  It's pretty decent sounding though, with some songs from their self titled release, their demo, and some songs that would wind up on their LP released the next year.  They even do an M.O.D. cover!  Not very nice there though guys, haha.  If you like Macabre, hopefully you dig this as well.  - DH

UPDATE: (3/04/22):

Youtube user gavin. commented with a link to another version of this show, this time a video.  It's the same exact set, but listed as taking place in Chicago, though no date.  So we have the date from the tape, as well as the state, and thanks to the video we know it takes place in Chicago.  All we need is the venue name!  Sweet!  Thanks for bringing this to my attention gavin. and thanks to Reaper Metal Productions for uploading the video version.  -  DH

UPDATE: (3/04/22 pt 2: Electric Boogaloo)

Kingbean has come with the definitive info!  This show took place at The Gallery in Normal, IL!  Thanks KB! - DH

  1. This show was at The Gallery in Normal, IL. I've got a video with the same audio (though this sounds better). So, pretty sure it was a board feed into the camera, and this is sourced from that.

    Thanks for all the goodies!
